Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday discussed regional developments over the phone with his Austrian counterpart Beate Meinl-Reisinger, diplomatic sources said. The conversation focused on assessing the implications of recent events in the region.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Austrian foreign minister expressed support regarding the missiles targeting Trkiye. This discussion comes in the wake of Ankara’s announcement on Monday that NATO air defenses had intercepted a second missile entering its airspace. The first missile was downed last week amidst ongoing US-Israel attacks on Iran.
