Istanbul: The Turkish benchmark stock index, BIST 100, concluded Monday's trading session at 9,321.64 points, marking a slight increase of 0.05% from its previous close. The index began the day at 9,343.14 and gained 4.4 points compared to Friday's close.
According to Anadolu Agency, the index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, reaching a low of 9,268.07 and a high of 9,477.78. By the end of the session, 48 indexes recorded gains, while 49 ended with losses.
The total transaction volume for the day amounted to 108 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $2.83 billion. The overall value of the index was reported at 8.48 trillion liras, or $223.24 billion.
As of 6:50 pm local time (1550GMT), currency exchange rates stood at 38.1905 for USD/TRY, 44.0255 for EUR/TRY, and 50.4395 for GBP/TRY. Meanwhile, the price of gold was $3,417.99 per ounce, and Brent oil was priced at $65.20 per barrel.
