Turkish Defense Company Aselsan Expands Operations with New Office in Oman

Muscat: Aselsan, one of Turkey's prominent defense companies, has announced the opening of a new office in Oman, as part of its strategy to enhance its presence in the Middle East and Gulf region. This new establishment in Muscat, the Omani capital, joins the company's existing offices and subsidiaries in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

According to Anadolu Agency, Aselsan's statement highlighted that the Oman office will play a crucial role in the company's global advancement. It aims to produce leading products, develop innovative technologies, and expand its export capabilities. The establishment in Oman is expected to facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity-building initiatives between Turkey and Oman.

Ahmet Akyol, CEO and president of Aselsan, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering advanced defense solutions and fostering partnerships within the Gulf region. He noted that the Muscat office will primarily focus on marketing and trade activities. Akyol expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the security and technological development of Oman and neighboring nations through Aselsan's technologies, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing comprehensive after-sales support.
