Ankara: Trkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Saturday discussed Israel's attacks on Iran with his Azerbaijani and Egyptian counterparts, Turkish diplomatic sources said. Fidan held phone calls with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, engaging in discussions that also covered other regional developments.
According to Anadolu Agency, the developments followed an early Friday attack by Israeli forces on Iran, which targeted nuclear and missile facilities. The attack resulted in the death of over 104 individuals, including top military commanders and scientists, and left nearly 380 people injured.
Iran's response was swift, as reports indicate that Iran launched ballistic missiles targeting several areas across Israel. This counter-attack reportedly led to the deaths of three individuals and injuries to over 170 others.
