Turkish Foreign Minister Engages in Diplomatic Discussions Over Regional Tensions

Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held calls Tuesday with leaders and his counterparts from Qatar, Greece, and Iraq's northern Kurdish region to address ongoing regional developments.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan engaged in discussions with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Greek Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis, and Nechirvan Barzani, president of Iraq's northern Kurdish region. The conversations focused on the latest events in the region, particularly in light of recent military activities.

The diplomatic engagements occurred amid a US-Israeli military campaign against Iran that began on Saturday. This campaign has resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and various neighboring countries with US assets.
