Ankara: The Turkish foreign minister met with Ukraine's chief negotiator, the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday. The meeting took place in the capital Ankara between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Ukrainian Chief Negotiator Rustem Umerov. The details of their discussions were not disclosed.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting was announced on Turkish social media platform NSosyal. The Ministry did not provide further details about the agenda or outcomes of the gathering.

In addition to meeting Umerov, Fidan also engaged in separate diplomatic discussions with Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh and a Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the group's Political Bureau, also in Ankara.
