Turkish Foreign Minister Engages in Key Diplomatic Meetings in New York

New York:Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held separate meetings with his counterparts from Venezuela, El Salvador, and Guinea-Bissau on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan met Venezuelan Foreign Minister Felix Plasencia Gonzales at the Turkish House in New York. He also engaged in discussions with El Salvador's Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill, during which the two ministers signed an "Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation."

Fidan's diplomatic engagements continued with a meeting with Guinea-Bissau's Foreign Minister Fatumata Jau and Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir.

Additionally, Fidan participated in an event titled "Rethinking Multilateralism in a Transforming World The Role of Regional Ownership." Organized by the Turkish Foreign Ministry's Center for Strategic Research, the event took place at the Turkish House and included discussions with international relations scholars and representatives from think tanks and the media.
