Ankara: Trkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday engaged in discussions regarding the ongoing Iran war with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi and Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar, according to Turkish diplomatic sources. Fidan's conversations with these key regional players are part of a broader effort to address and potentially resolve the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan and Araghchi exchanged views on the "latest situation in the war" through a phone call, emphasizing the urgent need for dialogue and cooperation to mitigate the crisis. This discussion highlights the complex geopolitical dynamics at play, as Iran continues to face significant challenges following the joint US-Israel attacks.

In a separate phone call, Fidan and Dar examined possible diplomatic efforts to end the conflict, which has been exacerbated by the US and Israel's offensive on Iran initiated on February 28.
