Antalya: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Saturday engaged in a series of high-level meetings with top foreign officials, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, and Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. These meetings were part of Fidan's diplomatic engagements at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, hosted in the scenic resort city.

According to Anadolu Agency, serving as the Global Communication Partner for the forum, Fidan's discussion with Lavrov covered a broad range of topics. The two foreign ministers delved into the bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, exploring collaborative avenues in energy and addressing navigation safety concerns in the Black Sea. They also focused on the ongoing efforts to broker a ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with additional discussions on the current geopolitical developments in Syria and Gaza.
