Turkish Foreign Minister Engages in Strategic Talks with Qatari Counterpart in Doha

Doha: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Doha, Qatar, Turkish diplomatic sources confirmed. The meeting is part of Fidan's two-day visit to the country.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan's visit aims to enhance the strategic partnership between Turkey and Qatar. Discussions are expected to explore new opportunities for collaboration and cooperation between the two nations. The talks are also set to lay the groundwork for the upcoming 11th High Strategic Committee meeting, which will be co-chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Additionally, the meetings will address consultations on pressing regional issues, with particular emphasis on the situations in Gaza and Syria. The discussions are anticipated to strengthen the bilateral relations and strategic alignment between the two countries.
