London: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan assessed the security summit held in London on Sunday, emphasizing the importance of Trkiye’s contributions toward a peace deal in Ukraine.
According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan remarked that the summit was attended by 17 countries, the European Union, and Canada, with participation from European Union and NATO countries, excluding the United States. He highlighted the different perspectives that have emerged within the European Union in response to the United States’ recent actions and the increasing clarity of its position, which were topics of discussion during the summit.
Fidan underscored the significance of Trkiye’s role in facilitating both a potential peace agreement in Ukraine and the reconstruction of the European Security Architecture. He also mentioned that future meetings are planned to occur more frequently, potentially every two or three weeks.
