New York:Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended a meeting focused on the New York Declaration and a 20-point peace plan aimed at resolving the Palestinian conflict.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York. The event, titled "The Way Forward: One Year After the New York Declaration and the 20-Point Comprehensive Peace Plan," was noted by the Turkish Foreign Ministry via their social media platform NSosyal.

The New York Declaration, passed by the UN General Assembly last September, supports the recognition of a Palestinian state and the advancement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Concurrently, US President Donald Trump introduced a 20-point plan designed to end the Gaza war and establish long-term peace. Further details of the meeting were not disclosed.
