Turkish President and Armenian Prime Minister Discuss Yerevan-Baku Peace Process by Phone

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday held a phone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the request of the Armenian side.

According to Anadolu Agency, the two leaders discussed peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Erdogan congratulated Pashinyan on the agreement reached with Azerbaijan, emphasizing that a desire for peace is crucial for regional stability. He stressed that the step taken should be translated into concrete actions.

The president also mentioned that technical talks will continue to advance the normalization process between Trkiye and Armenia, indicating that efforts in this direction are ongoing.
