Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conducted discussions on the Israel-Iran conflict during a phone call on Sunday, as reported by Trkiye's Communications Directorate. The leaders also exchanged views on various regional and global issues during their conversation.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan expressed concerns over Israel's actions against Iran, stating that such attacks threaten regional security and that the region cannot afford another war. He further criticized the Israeli government under Netanyahu, claiming it poses a risk to global stability and security.

Erdogan underscored the detrimental impact of Israel's aggression on the ongoing nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States. He reiterated that diplomacy remains the sole feasible approach to resolving the ongoing dispute over Iran's nuclear program.

The Turkish president added that both Trkiye and Kuwait have firmly denounced Israel's aggressive actions and alleged genocide in Gaza. He accused Israel of attempting to shift focus by escalating tensions with Iran and emphasized that such strategies must be prevented from succeeding.
