Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed regional security, bilateral ties, and the Gaza Peace Plan in a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, as reported by Trkiye's Communications Directorate.
According to Anadolu Agency, a statement from the directorate was shared on US social media company X, where Erdogan expressed Trkiye's sorrow over attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that Ankara is committed to achieving lasting peace and ensuring stability and security throughout the region.
Erdogan highlighted the importance of Israel's full compliance with the roadmap for the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan, noting that this is crucial for the plan's success. "We are closely monitoring the developments," Erdogan stated, as per the directorate's statement.
