Turkish President Celebrates Turkic States Cooperation Day

Ankara:Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan commemorated the Turkic States Cooperation Day on Saturday, coinciding with the 17th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which led to the formation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan shared his congratulations with the Turkic world through a message on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal. He expressed hopes for enduring unity, togetherness, and solidarity under the motto "Unity in language, thought and action."

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also issued a statement recognizing the significance of the day and the anniversary of the agreement. The ministry emphasized the evolution of the Organization of Turkic States into a key platform that institutionalizes solidarity and cooperation, leveraging shared history, language, and brotherhood. It also announced that the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be hosted by T¼rkiye on October 29-30, which is expected to further enhance this partnership.

T¼rkiye is determined to continue its efforts to turn the potential of the Turkic world into shared prosperity, aiming to build the "Turkic Century" in unity and solidarity, as stated by the ministry.
