The Hague: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday met Romanian President Nicusor Dan on the sidelines of a NATO summit in The Hague, the Netherlands. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional and global issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized Ankara's commitment to strengthening Turkey-Romania relations across various sectors, including trade and the defense industry. He highlighted the significance of collaboration between the two nations in combating terrorism and expressed a shared goal of ensuring Black Sea security.

During the meeting, Erdogan was joined by several key Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Justice and Development (AK) Party Deputy Chair Halit Yerebakan, and top adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic.
