Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye held a phone call to discuss bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan emphasized Ankara's commitment to reaching the bilateral trade volume target between Trkiye and Senegal. He highlighted that expanding cooperation in various areas, especially investment, would be instrumental in achieving this goal. Erdogan also stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration in the defense industry, noting that Trkiye intends to pursue initiatives that benefit both nations through a "win-win" approach.
