Turkish President Erdogan Arrives in Kuwait for Official Talks

Kuwait city: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on Tuesday in Kuwait to hold official talks, marking his first stop on a three-day tour of Gulf states. Erdogan was greeted by Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti emir, during an official ceremony attended by key Kuwaiti officials and staff from the Turkish Embassy.

According to Anadolu Agency, the welcoming delegation included Kuwait's Public Works Minister Nora Mohammad Al-Mashaan, Defense Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Sabah, as well as other Cabinet ministers and officials. Erdogan's entourage comprises first lady Emine Erdogan and several high-ranking Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, among others.

Following the ceremony, President Erdogan proceeded to Bayan Palace for bilateral and inter-delegation meetings with Sheikh Mishal. The discussions are expected to lead to the signing of agreements between the two nations, followed by an official dinner hosted by Mishal.

Erdogan's visit to Kuwait is part of a broader tour of the Gulf region, which will also include stops in Qatar and Oman before concluding on Thursday.
