Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday engaged in a phone call with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the head of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council.
According to Anadolu Agency, a statement from Trkiye's Communications Directorate shared on US social media company X indicated that the discussion between the two leaders centered on bilateral relations and the current security situation in Sudan. President Erdogan expressed Trkiye's commitment to Sudan's territorial integrity and political unity, emphasizing the importance of the Sudanese army's efforts in maintaining security within the country. Erdogan also reaffirmed that Trkiye's support and humanitarian aid to Sudan will persist.
