Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday received Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) President Nechirvan Barzani at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting was also attended by National Intelligence Organization head Ibrahim Kalin, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and Presidential Chief Foreign Policy and Security Adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic. The meeting was conducted behind closed doors.

Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Barzani, as announced by the Foreign Ministry on the Turkish social media platform Nsosyal.
