Ashgabat: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Turkmenistan on December 11-12 to participate in the International Peace and Security Forum. The announcement was made by Trkiye's communications director on Wednesday.
According to Anadolu Agency, the forum aims to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the designation of 2025 as the 'International Year of Peace and Trust' by the UN General Assembly. Burhanettin Duran, speaking on Turkish social media platform NSosyal, emphasized that President Erdogan will deliver an address at the forum.
In addition to his address, President Erdogan is expected to engage in bilateral discussions with various heads of state and government attending the event, including the host nation, Turkmenistan. These talks will take place on the sidelines of the forum, providing an opportunity for dialogue and cooperation among participating countries.
