Bishkek: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on August 31 to September 1 to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Trkiye's communications director announced on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Burhanettin Duran revealed on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal that Erdogan's visit comes at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. During the visit, Erdogan is expected to address the summit session, which will be conducted in an expanded format on Tuesday. Additionally, he will engage in bilateral meetings with other participating leaders.
