Turkish President Erdogan Welcomes Kazakh Counterpart for Strategic Talks

Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday officially welcomed his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara. The two leaders are set to engage in a bilateral meeting followed by co-chairing the fifth meeting of the Trkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Council.

According to Anadolu Agency, the welcoming ceremony was attended by several Turkish ministers, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, National Education Minister Yusuf Tekin, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, and Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

Following their discussions, Erdogan and Tokayev are expected to participate in a signing ceremony for agreements and conduct a joint news conference. To honor the visiting president, Erdogan will later host an official dinner and present Tokayev with the State Order of the Republic of Trkiye.
