Turkish President Extends Condolences to Saudi Crown Prince Over Recent Attacks

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed his condolences to Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for recent attacks targeting the kingdom during a phone call, as announced by Trkiye's Communications Directorate.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan and bin Salman engaged in discussions concerning the ongoing conflict in the region and various developments. The Directorate released a statement on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, outlining the conversation between the two leaders.

The statement highlighted President Erdogan's commitment to diplomacy, emphasizing his efforts to ensure that dialogue and negotiations are prioritized. "President Erdogan stated that he has been holding talks to ensure that diplomacy is given a chance despite everything, that problems are resolved through dialogue, and that negotiations return," the statement read.

In addition to discussing regional issues, President Erdogan expressed his condolences specifically to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding the attacks that have targeted Saudi Arabia. This gesture underscores Turkey's diplomatic engagement and concern for stability in the region.
