Istanbul: The Turkish president met with the Belgian queen in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, the Turkish Presidency said on Monday. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Queen Mathilde of Belgium held a closed-door meeting at Vahdettin Mansion, the statement noted.

According to Anadolu Agency, Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan was also present at the gathering. No further details were shared regarding the event.
