Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Chief Foreign Policy and Security Adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic participated in a crucial meeting of the national security advisors of the "Coalition of the Willing" for Ukraine on Wednesday. The gathering focused on discussing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and exploring pathways to establish a lasting peace agreement.

According to Anadolu Agency - English, the meeting included national security advisors from member countries of the coalition and a delegation from the NATO secretary general's office. The attendees engaged in comprehensive consultations about the current developments in the conflict and potential resolutions. Kilic emphasized that Trkiye is committed to ending the Russia-Ukraine war with a just, lasting, and inclusive peace agreement.

During the discussions, Kilic reiterated Ankara's pledge to persist with its diplomatic efforts and humanitarian responsibilities. He highlighted the determination of Trkiye to contribute actively towards achieving peace in the region.

In addition to the main meeting, Kilic also held discussions with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, and other officials. These meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring further collaborative efforts in the ongoing peace initiative.
