Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index began the week on a positive note, opening at 10,672.99 points, marking an increase of 0.29%, or 30.39 points, from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had experienced a decline on Friday, falling by 0.43% to 10,642.60 points. The daily transaction volume for that day was reported to be 83.2 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $2.05 billion.

As of 10.25 am local time (0725GMT) on Monday, the exchange rates were recorded at 40.5540 Turkish liras per US dollar, 47.5660 per euro, and 54.5100 per British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was valued at $3,342, while Brent crude oil traded at $68 per barrel.
