ADANA: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 9,043.91 points, posting a slight decrease of 0.01% or 0.98 points from the previous close. On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index was up by 0.15% to 9,044.89 points, with a daily transaction volume of 83 billion Turkish liras ($2.44 billion). As of 10.25 a.m. (0725GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.2770 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 37.5650 for the euro, and 44.8060 for the British pound.
