Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,487.41 points, marking a slight increase of 0.03% or 3.02 points from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had a significant rise on Monday, soaring 2.7% to close at 10,484.39 points, with a daily transaction volume reaching 146.5 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3.49 billion.

As of 10.15 am local time (0715GMT), the exchange rates were noted at 41.9670 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.8275 to the euro, and 56.2070 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was recorded at $4,333.95, while Brent crude oil was trading at $60.60 per barrel.
