Istanbul: Trkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,421.64 points, marking a slight decline of 0.01% or 0.60 points from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index on Monday saw a decrease of 0.81%, closing at 10,422.24 points, with a daily transaction volume hitting 118 billion Turkish liras ($3.22 billion).

As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), the exchange rates indicated that one US dollar was equivalent to 36.5820 liras, the euro was 39.7710 liras, and the British pound stood at 47.1760 liras.

The commodity market showed the price of an ounce of gold at $2,901.30, while Brent crude oil was trading at $69.25 per barrel.
