Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, opened Wednesday at 10,655.66, marking an increase of 0.75% or 79.21 points from the previous closing.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had closed at 10,576.45 points on Tuesday, experiencing a decline of 1.97% with a daily transaction volume of 174.5 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $4.13 billion.

As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), the exchange rates were reported at 42.2420 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9740 to the euro, and 55.5660 to the British pound. Meanwhile, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,123.10, and Brent crude oil was trading at $64.8 per barrel.
