Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 11,226.65 points, reflecting an increase of 0.29% or 32.76 points from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had fallen by 0.4% to 11,193.88 points on Wednesday, with the daily transaction volume reaching 133.7 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $3.14 billion. As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), the exchange rates were observed at 42.6090 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 49.9120 to the euro, and 57.1125 to the British pound.

Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was recorded at $4,213.35, while Brent crude oil was trading at $61.70 per barrel.
