Two Palestinians Killed in Gaza as Ceasefire Violations Persist

Gaza: Two Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, highlighting ongoing violations of the ceasefire established last October, according to medical sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, a young man named Muhammad al-Sayed Suleiman Sbeitan, aged 26, was killed by a bomb fired from an Israeli drone near the Qastal Towers, east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip. Sbeitan was critically injured and transported to Deir al-Balah Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Another young man, Ammar Talal Abu Shab, was reported to have been killed by Israeli fire in the Al-Satar Al-Sharqi area, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. These incidents occurred outside the designated control and deployment zones of the Israeli army, known as the 'yellow line.'

The 'yellow line' is a boundary within Gaza, established under the ceasefire agreement, delineating areas under Israeli control from zones where Palestinians are permitted to be present. Despite the ceasefire, the region continues to experience violence.

In a severe offensive on Gaza initiated in October 2023, Israeli forces have been responsible for the deaths of more than 72,000 people, leaving the area in ruins.
