Hebron: Two Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank, as confirmed by an official statement.

According to Anadolu Agency, Palestine's General Authority of Civil Affairs reported that Muhammad Iyad Abahra, 16, was shot by Israeli forces late Saturday in the village of Silat al-Harithiya, located in the western Jenin governorate. The Israeli army has retained his body, the statement noted.

Israeli forces conducted a raid in Silah al-Harithiya on Saturday night, utilizing live ammunition and stun grenades against Palestinians, as reported by the official news agency Wafa.

Furthermore, Wafa mentioned that another Palestinian was killed by Israeli forces in Hebron, situated in the southern West Bank, allegedly for attempting to stab soldiers. The young man was shot in the head at Hebron City's northern entrance, and medical teams were reportedly prevented from reaching him.

Palestinian figures indicate that Israeli forces and illegal settlers have killed at least 1,093 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, while injuring nearly 11,000 and detaining around 21,000 since October 2023.

In a noteworthy ruling last July, the International Court of Justice deemed Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and urged for the removal of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
