Santa clara: UAE forces are 'actively engaging' incoming missile and drone attacks, the UAE Defense Ministry stated Tuesday. 'The sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing engaging operations of missiles and UAVs,' the ministry noted in a post on US social media company X at 0724 GMT.

According to Anadolu Agency, tensions in the region have increased since Israel and the United States launched a joint offensive against Iran on February 28. This offensive has resulted in over 1,340 deaths, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These attacks have led to casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
