Additionally, the ministry reported the detection of 121 drones, with 119 intercepted, and two landing inside the country.

The statement further revealed that since February 28, a total of 221 ballistic missiles have been detected. Out of these, 205 were destroyed, 14 ended up in the sea, and two landed within the UAE's territory. The ministry also noted the detection and destruction of eight cruise missiles.

Iran has been launching missiles and drones targeting Israel and Gulf countries that host US military assets since February 28. These attacks have led to casualties and damage to civilian sites, including ports and residential buildings. Tehran claims that these attacks are a response to a US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, which has reportedly resulted in the death of more than 1,000 people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and top military officials.
