London: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Sunday his readiness to send British troops to Ukraine to help enforce a peace deal. Starmer emphasized the gravity of this decision, acknowledging the responsibility of potentially putting British servicemen and women in harm's way. He underscored that contributing to Ukraine's security is synonymous with ensuring the security of the European continent and the UK itself.

According to Anadolu Agency, Starmer highlighted the importance of a lasting resolution to the Ukraine conflict, stressing that it should not be a temporary halt before another potential assault by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He emphasized the crucial role of the United States in maintaining peace, stating that only US support can adequately deter further aggression from Russia.

Starmer revealed plans to meet with US President Donald Trump and engage with other G7 countries to establish a strong peace agreement.
