Ankara: Talks between Ukraine and the US have commenced in Saudi Arabia's capital, as announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on Sunday. He stated that the discussions in Riyadh are a step forward in implementing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's directive, which aims to bring a just peace closer and enhance security measures.

According to Anadolu Agency, the talks address critical issues such as safeguarding essential infrastructure and energy facilities. Umerov emphasized the complexity of the technical issues at hand, noting that the Ukrainian delegation includes energy experts and military representatives from the naval and air sectors.
