Ukraine Reports Six Fatalities in Russian Airstrikes on Southern Regions.

Kyiv: Ukraine stated on Monday that at least six individuals lost their lives due to Russian airstrikes targeting the southern regions of the conflict-ridden nation. Mykolaiv Governor Vitaliy Kim reported on Telegram that an overnight drone attack by Russia on the region's administrative capital resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to one woman. According to Anadolu Agency, Kim noted that 22 individuals required psychological assistance at the scene. The attack led to fires in both a multi-story building and a private structure, which were swiftly extinguished. In a separate incident, Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov mentioned on Telegram that one person was killed and another 21 were injured following Russian attacks on the regional capital. Additionally, Serhiy Popko, who heads the Kyiv City Military Administration, announced the implementation of emergency power outages in Kyiv as a precautionary measure against the potential threat of a missile attack on the city. Ukraine's Air Force re ported that its air defenses successfully downed 39 out of 74 drones and two guided missiles launched by Russia during the overnight assaults.
