Kyiv: Ukraine reported on Wednesday that at least two individuals were injured following an overnight Russian drone attack on the capital city, Kyiv. According to Anadolu Agency, Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, announced via Telegram that debris from the attack fell in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, resulting in damage to a building. Popko confirmed that two people sustained injuries during the incident. In response to the widespread drone assault, Ukraine's Air Force stated that it successfully intercepted and shot down 36 out of the 89 drones launched by Russia across eight regions, including Kyiv, during the night. However, Russian authorities have yet to issue a comment regarding these claims.
