Ankara: Ukraine's ambassador to Ankara was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry following attacks on two Turkish-operated vessels in the Black Sea, the Foreign Ministry sources said.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Turkish-operated vessel "Lider Bordo Mavi" was struck off the Russian port city of Tuapse on August 26. The following day, another vessel, "Lider Kocatepe," which was sent to tow the first vessel, was also targeted.

Following these incidents, Ukraine's ambassador was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, where Turkey expressed its concerns over the attacks. During the meeting, Turkish officials emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of life, property, navigation, and the environment in the Black Sea. Necessary warnings were issued to address these concerns.
