Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Engages in Talks with US Envoy on Peace Strategy

Kyiv: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha½ held talks with US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, focusing on efforts to achieve a 'comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace,' the Foreign Ministry said Thursday. Sybiha reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to reaching peace 'through strength' and outlined Kyiv's vision for necessary steps to end the war with Russia. He also emphasized the interconnectedness of Ukraine's security with that of the transatlantic region.

According to Anadolu Agency, Sybiha stated, "The security of Ukraine and the security of the transatlantic space are indivisible." He further elaborated on X, affirming Ukraine's "willingness to achieve peace through strength and our vision for the necessary steps." The discussions come as the conflict with Russia nears its third anniversary, highlighting the urgency for a resolution.

Kellogg's visit to Kyiv underscores the ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the conflict and strengthen ties between Ukraine and the transatlantic community. His arrival marks a significant point in the dialogue between Ukraine and its allies as they seek to establish a lasting peace framework.
