Ukraine’s Zelenskyy Arrives in Istanbul for Strategic Talks with Erdogan

Istanbul: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Saturday his arrival in Istanbul for discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He expressed his intentions to bolster the partnership between Ukraine and Turkey, aiming to enhance the protection of lives, promote stability, and ensure security across Europe and the Middle East.

According to Anadolu Agency, the agenda for Zelenskyy's one-day visit to Turkey includes significant meetings focused on regional developments and bilateral interests. The discussions are expected to address the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, emphasizing efforts to establish a ceasefire and secure a lasting resolution. The Istanbul Process, a key component of the peace efforts, is anticipated to be a central topic during the talks.
