Damascus: Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Damascus on Sunday for his first official visit to Syria, as reported by the SANA news agency. Zelenskyy was greeted at Damascus International Airport by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also present.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy is expected to engage in discussions with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa. The talks will focus on both bilateral and regional issues, marking a significant diplomatic engagement between Ukraine and Syria.
