A meeting between the UN Secretary - General, Antonio Guterres, and Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, will be scheduled for later this week, after Guterres' meeting with Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that was scheduled to take place in New York on Tuesday, did not take place. According to UN Secretariat sources, the meeting was not held due to a scheduling issue that came up by the Turkish side, and a meeting of the Secretary-General with the Turkish Foreign Minister will be scheduled for later this week.
