According to Anadolu Agency, Huckabee conveyed this message to Trump, highlighting the Butler, Pennsylvania shooting incident where Trump survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally. Huckabee's message, which Trump shared on Truth Social, emphasized the gravity of Trump's presidency by drawing parallels with former President Harry Truman, who made pivotal decisions during World War II.

Huckabee's mention of Truman in 1945 comes against a backdrop of rising tensions between Israel and Iran, with reports suggesting that Israel is pushing for US involvement.
