According to Anadolu Agency, Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby led the meetings, which focused on developing practical frameworks for security and stability in the region. These military-to-military talks are expected to inform a parallel political track led by the State Department, with further discussions scheduled for next week.

The US Defense Department emphasized the importance of its strategic partnerships with both the Israel Defense Forces and the Lebanese Armed Forces.
