Fars: A US-Israeli airstrike hit an ambulance transporting wounded people in Iran's southern Fars province, the Iranian Red Crescent said Wednesday. The organization added in a statement that the attack has left the ambulance on fire, and no information was yet available about casualties. Red Crescent chief Pir Hossein denounced the attack as a 'flagrant violation' of human rights and international law.

According to Anadolu Agency, Iranian media reported earlier that several oil facilities came under US-Israeli strikes in Fars on Wednesday. The escalation in the region has seen a series of attacks, with government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani stating that US-Israeli forces have targeted 52 health centers, 29 clinics, 19 emergency centers, 16 ambulances, and a medical helicopter since February 28.

The US and Israel have maintained a joint offensive on Iran since the end of February, resulting in approximately 1,300 casualties, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory strikes have caused further casualties and damage to infrastructure, disrupting global markets and aviation.
