US-Israeli Attack in Western Iran Results in Multiple Casualties

Kermanshah: Three people were killed and several others injured in the US-Israeli attack on Iran's western Kermanshah province. The attack targeted civilian residential areas, causing fatalities and injuries, as reported by Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

According to Anadolu Agency, the US and Israel have been conducting airstrikes on Iranian targets since February 28, resulting in the deaths of over 1,340 individuals, as per Iranian authorities. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes against Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.

The conflict has also claimed the lives of at least 13 US service members, based on official US figures. The ongoing hostilities have further impacted energy prices and disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital passage for global oil shipments, with a substantial amount of the world's oil supply transiting through this chokepoint.
